the Catholic faith's prayer cards or mass cards are a relatively outdated and sensitive memento mori in a society that tends to distance itself from emotional conflict. Death certificates are the opposite of these cards, they divide a dead person into facts and figures. Sometimes I think this is a more accurate representation of how we deal with death, not with biblical figures, but with statistics.
